High School Credit - just for being in 4H
Use your 4-H community and project work to earn a High School Credit! Contact your school principal, guidance counsellor or Regional 4-H Specialist for a more information. Special Project Credit guidelines are available from most school divisions. As well, your Regional 4-H Specialist has examples of successful projects to share with you.
100 hours of documented 4-H work is required and can include work on project requirements, record book, meetings, clinics and workshops, as well as involvement in 4-H activities and events at all levels.

- Set some goals for the project: i.e., 'I will enhance my leadership and public speaking skills through my 4-H club work'
- List the objectives: What will you need to learn to accomplish the goals: i.e., 'By acting as Club President, I will learn the importance of using parliamentary procedure for meetings and the value of co-operation in meetings and activities.'
- Describe the experiences and processes to be followed for the 100 hours: i.e., Preparation for, and attending meetings and organizing events - 20 hours; Participation at club, district and regional public speaking - 15 hours.
